The Soul Of Man Under Socialism
| Oscar Wilde

The best among the poor
are never grateful. Charity
degrades ↔ demoralises by
being inadequate & partial.

Advising a starving man to eat
less. - These are the poor: Theirs'
is the work of beasts of burden.
From their collective force
humanity gains, fattens.
If only the poor would be un-
important. They matter, they must
be crushed to obedience.

Slavery was never put down by slaves.
What is needed are individuals. Charity
creates a multitude of sins. Part of the
worst slave owners were those "nice ones".
