The Soul Of Man Under Socialism II
| Oscar Wilde

Scarcely anyone at all escapes -
The shelter of the wall is for
Exceptions only. A century may
Pass.

Those evils that they see
Most sympathise with while
Prolonging the disease that
Might allow them to survive.

&Sympathy with thought?!

Who has it? Me? My life I spent
To realise my own perfection.
My own, icomparable gain is
Lasting.
